How it works

1. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Thermopod twice by sacrificing Selvala and Slimefoot and Squee.
3. Activate Slimefoot and Squee by paying 1 and sacrificing a Saproling, returning it and Selvala from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. When Slimefoot and Squee enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious engine uses Thermopod as a reliable sacrifice outlet that instantly converts your creatures into red mana while granting the haste needed to keep the loop moving, a quality neatly complemented by Kratos, God of War and its passive haste-granting aura. By utilizing Slimefoot and Squee's activated ability, you can pull both the legendary plant-fungus and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds straight out of your graveyard and back onto the battlefield. Every time Slimefoot and Squee returns, its enter-the-battlefield trigger creates a Saproling token to fuel further sacrifices, while Selvala, Heart of the Wilds taps for a massive influx of colored mana to fund the entire repeating cycle.
