How it works

1. Activate Barrenton Medic's first ability by tapping it.
2. Activate Barrenton Medic's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. Hapatra triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters, Elegant Entourage triggers, giving Barrenton Medic +1/+1 until end of turn.
5. Resolve the Barrenton Medic ability from step 2, untapping it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Barrenton Medic's self-contained ability to put a -1/-1 counter on itself to untap, which conveniently triggers Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons to generate a 1/1 green Snake creature token with deathtouch whenever those counters are placed. Every time that token enters the battlefield, Elegant Entourage's alliance ability triggers to grant Barrenton Medic a +1/+1 and trample boost until end of turn, ensuring the Medic doesn't wither away entirely under the weight of its own -1/-1 counters. Because the Medic can simply untap and repeat this process indefinitely, you instantly flood the board with infinite creature tokens and endless enters-the-battlefield triggers.
