2. Hapatra triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Undercover Operative by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Grim Poppet.
4. Hapatra triggers, creating a creature token.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the distribution of -1/-1 counters into a self-sustaining engine by using a clever copy effect to bounce the counters back and forth. You start with Grim Poppet and its ability to freely move counters, while Undercover Operative enters the battlefield as a clone of Grim Poppet to double up on that counter-manipulation potential. Every time you shift a counter using Grim Poppet or the copied abilities of Undercover Operative, Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons watches the counters land and rewards you with a steady stream of deathtouch tokens.
