How it works

1. Cast Ghalta by paying 5.
2. When Ghalta enters the battlefield, it, Cadric and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
3. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Burning-Tree Emissary to your hand if its on the battlefield, or returning nothing to your hand otherwise.
4. Resolve the Ghalta trigger, putting Burning-Tree Emissary onto the battlefield from your hand.
5. When Burning-Tree Emissary enters the battlefield, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
6. Resolve the Burning-Tree Emissary trigger, adding .
7. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Ghalta to your hand from the battlefield.
8. Resolve the Cadric trigger from step 2, causing you to pay 1 to create a token copy of Ghalta with haste.
9. When the Ghalta token enters the battlefield, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
10. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
11. Resolve the Ghalta token's trigger, putting Ghalta onto the battlefield from your hand.
12. Repeat from step 2.

This loop uses Cloudstone Curio as an elegant bounce engine that lets you recast Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant over and over by exploiting the creature you drop from your hand. Burning-Tree Emissary acts as the crucial mana-positive catalyst, generating the red and green mana needed to sustain the chain and pay for Cadric, Soul Kindler's ability. Thanks to Cadric, Soul Kindler ignoring the legend rule and making hasty token copies of Ghalta whenever another legendary permanent enters, you can endlessly churn through your hand and flood the board with infinite haste-granting threats.
