How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least .
2. Cast Anti-Venom by paying .
3. When Anti-Venom enters, its first ability and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
4. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning nothing to your hand.
5. Resolve the Anti-Venom trigger, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Great Whale enters, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
7. Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
8. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Anti-Venom from the battlefield to your hand.
9. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Great Whale, adding .
10. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a clever dance between Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer and Great Whale to constantly recycle their entry triggers using Cloudstone Curio. Whenever Anti-Venom enters the battlefield having been cast, its ability pulls Great Whale out of your graveyard, which in turn triggers Cloudstone Curio to bounce Anti-Venom right back to your hand. Meanwhile, Great Whale's own entry trigger untaps your lands to keep the mana flowing, and Phyrexian Altar provides a convenient sacrifice outlet for the Whale while filtering your resources.
