How it works

1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least .
2. Cast Anti-Venom by paying .
3. When Anti-Venom enters, its first ability and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
4. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning nothing to your hand.
5. Resolve the Anti-Venom trigger, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. When Great Whale enters, it and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
7. Resolve the Great Whale trigger, untapping up to seven lands.
8. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Anti-Venom from the battlefield to your hand.
9. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Great Whale.
10. Repeat.

This loop uses the recursive enter-the-battlefield triggers of Anti-Venom and Great Whale to constantly re-cast and bounce our threats. Cloudstone Curio serves as the essential mechanical glue here, letting Great Whale's arrival bounce Anti-Venom back to your hand so it can be re-cast, while Anti-Venom's own entry trigger pulls Great Whale right back out of the graveyard. Finally, Altar of Dementia takes advantage of this endless cycle of bodies by sacrificing Great Whale each time around, grinding the opponent's library down to nothing with infinite mill.
