How it works

1. Activate Dream Trawler by discarding a nonartifact Lhurgoyf card.
2. Disa the Restless' first ability triggers, putting the discarded Lhurgoyf from your graveyard onto the battlefield.
3. When the Lhurgoyf enters the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers, returning another nontoken nonartifact Lhurgoyf from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Dream Trawler ability from step 1.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Disa the Restless to instantly cheat any discarded Lhurgoyf permanent card right back onto the battlefield whenever it hits your graveyard. As that Lhurgoyf enters, Cloudstone Curio's clever static trigger recognizes the shared permanent type and lets you bounce another Lhurgoyf safely back to your hand to repeat the process. Meanwhile, Dream Trawler serves as the active engine for this entire sequence, providing both the discard outlet needed to feed Disa the Restless and a steady stream of self-discard triggers without ever leaving your hand.
