How it works

  1. Cast Time Warp by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  2. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability triggers, causing you to cast a copy of it from exile.
  3. Resolve the copy, creating a token copy of Ardent Elementalist
  4. When the Ardent Elementalist token enters, it triggers, returning Time Warp from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Repeat.

This clever infinite-turn engine hinges on the free rebound-like recursion granted by Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability, which lets you recast the spell from exile for zero mana at the start of your main phase. When you cast it, you target Ardent Elementalist to create a token copy via Echocasting Symposium, and the resulting creature's enters-the-battlefield trigger promptly pulls Time Warp right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because Time Warp gives you an endless succession of extra turns to keep triggering that paradigm cast of Echocasting Symposium, you can loop this sequence indefinitely to lock down the game and run away with victory.
