How it works

1. Activate Scaretiller by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Elf Warrior creature token.
2. Scaretiller triggers, returning Gateway Plaza from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
3. Gateway Plaza enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Retreat to Coralhelm.
4. Resolve the Gateway Plaza trigger, choosing to sacrifice it.
5. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Scaretiller.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a modest Scarecrow into an infinite army by feeding on its own wreckage. First, you enchant Scaretiller with Presence of Gond so it can tap to create a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature token, which simultaneously satisfies its own requirement to become tapped. That tapping triggers Scaretiller's ability to yank Gateway Plaza straight back from your graveyard onto the battlefield tapped. The moment Gateway Plaza arrives, its own sacrifice trigger goes on the stack alongside a landfall trigger from Retreat to Coralhelm. Letting the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger resolve first allows you to untap Scaretiller, setting the stage to repeat the entire cycle endlessly for infinite tokens, creature entry triggers, and landfall.
