How it works

1. Activate Zimone's first ability by paying 1 and tapping it, putting Rakdos Carnarium from your hand onto the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
2. When Rakdos Carnarium enters the battlefield, it and Retreat to Coralhelm trigger.
3. Holding priority, activate Rakdos Carnarium by tapping it, adding .
4. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger from step 2, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Zimone.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Horizon Explorer's passive ability to keep your lands entering untapped, allowing Rakdos Carnarium to hit the battlefield cleanly without slowing you down. When the bounce-land drops, it triggers its own return ability alongside Retreat to Coralhelm, which gives you a chance to tap the Carnarium for black and red mana before it leaves play. As the land bounces back to your hand, the landfall trigger untaps Zimone, Quandrix Prodigy, so you can pay her activation cost and immediately replay the Carnarium to restart the cycle.
