How it works

1. Cast High Tide by paying .
2. Cast Doppelgang by paying its mana cost, targeting an Island you control.
3. Thousand-Year Storm triggers.
4. Holding priority, activate Gogo by paying 2 and tapping it, copying the Thousand-Year Storm ability.
5. Resolve the copy of Thousand-Year Storm's ability, copying the Doppelgang spell, targeting an Island you control that enters the battlefield untapped.
6. Resolve the copy of Doppelgang, creating a token copy of the targeted Island.
7. When the Island token enters, Retreat to Coralhelm triggers, untapping Gogo.
8. Activate the Island token by tapping it, adding .
9. High Tide triggers, adding .
10. Repeat from step 4.

This brilliant loop begins by supercharging your mana with High Tide, turning every tapped Island into a wellspring of extra blue mana. You cast Doppelgang to get the machinery rolling, which immediately invites Thousand-Year Storm to start layering up storm copies for every instant or sorcery you've cast this turn. The true alchemy, however, relies on Gogo, Master of Mimicry to copy that Thousand-Year Storm trigger so you can rapidly multiply your Doppelgang spells. Every time a Doppelgang copy resolves, it conjures a fresh Island token whose entrance triggers Retreat to Coralhelm, cleverly untapping Gogo so you can repeat the process and flood the board with infinite blue mana and permanent tokens.
