How it works

1. Cast Overlord of the Hauntwoods by paying 3.
2. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers, creating a tapped Everywhere land token.
3. When the Everywhere token enters the battlefield, Nissa and Retreat to Coralhelm trigger.
4. Reoslve the Nissa trigger, adding 1.
5. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Romana II.
6. Activate Romana II by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a tapped copy of the Everywhere token.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop spins up by dropping Overlord of the Hauntwoods to seed the battlefield with an Everywhere land token, which immediately trips the landfall triggers of both Nissa, Resurgent Animist and Retreat to Coralhelm. Nissa provides the exact mana needed to fuel Romana II, while Retreat to Coralhelm untaps Romana II so she can copy that very same token over and over again. Every iteration of Romana II's activated ability brings another Everywhere token into play, feeding the loop indefinitely and generating infinite landfall triggers to filter your deck and flood the board with every basic land type.
