How it works

1. Activate the mana-producing land by tapping it, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Wonderscape Sage by tapping it and returning the mana-producing land from the battlefield to your hand, causing you to draw a card and discard a card if the land didn't have a nonbasic land type.
3. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting the mana-producing land from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Tiller Engine and Retreat to Coralhelm trigger.
5. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Wonderscape Sage.
6. Resolve the Tiller Engine trigger, untapping the land.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the simple act of bouncing and replaying lands into a powerful engine for card selection. Patron of the Moon fuels the core loop by letting you spend mana to dump lands straight from your hand onto the battlefield, which in turn triggers Retreat to Coralhelm to untap Wonderscape Sage, while Tiller Engine simultaneously ensures your lands enter untapped and ready to be reused. With Wonderscape Sage tapped to return that very land back to your hand for a card draw, the entire cycle resets seamlessly, allowing you to churn through your deck and filter your hand indefinitely.
