How it works

1. Activate Zimone's first ability by paying 1 and tapping it, putting Golgari Rot Farm from your hand onto the battlefield untapped due to Horizon Explorer.
2. When Golgari Rot Farm enters the battlefield, it and Retreat to Coralhelm trigger.
3. Holding priority, activate Golgari Rot Farm by tapping it, adding .
4. Resolve the Golgari Rot Farm trigger from step 2, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Zimone.
6. Repeat.

This clever engine turns a self-bouncing land into an infinite mana-and-landfall machine. With Horizon Explorer ensuring your lands enter untapped, tapping Zimone, Quandrix Prodigy drops Golgari Rot Farm onto the battlefield, instantly triggering its own return-to-hand clause alongside Retreat to Coralhelm's landfall ability. By responding to the bounce trigger to tap the Rot Farm for black and green mana, you generate floating resources before the land safely returns to your hand. Meanwhile, Retreat to Coralhelm's untap trigger targets Zimone, Quandrix Prodigy, resetting the Quandrix prodigy to do it all over again.
