How it works

1. Activate Wight of the Reliquary by tapping it and sacrificing another creature, causing you to search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Sporemound and Retreat to Coralhelm trigger.
3. Resolve the Sporemound trigger, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
4. Resolve the Retreat to Coralhelm trigger, untapping Wight of the Reliquary.
5. Repeat.

This elegant loop feeds entirely on itself by turning land drops into fresh sacrificial fodder. Whenever you use Wight of the Reliquary to cash in a creature for a new land, that landfall triggers both Sporemound and Retreat to Coralhelm simultaneously. Sporemound's ability dutifully generates a brand-new Saproling token to replace the one you just lost, while Retreat to Coralhelm untaps the Wight so it's ready to go again. You can simply repeat this cycle to strip every single land straight out of your library and onto the battlefield, filling your graveyard with creatures to make the Wight massive in the process.
