How it works

  1. Activate Murasa Rootgrazer's second ability by tapping it, returning Crimson Kobolds to your hand from the battlefield.
  2. Cast Crimson Kobolds by paying 0.
  3. When Crimson Kobolds enters the battlefield, Retreat to Coralhelm triggers, untapping Murasa Rootgrazer.
  4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns zero-mana creatures into an infinite engine by weaving together type-changing static abilities and landfall untaps. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by turning all your nontoken creatures into Forests, which Rootpath Purifier then upgrades into basic lands. Because Crimson Kobolds costs zero mana to cast, playing it triggers Retreat to Coralhelm thanks to its new land status, untapping Murasa Rootgrazer. You can then use Murasa Rootgrazer to bounce Crimson Kobolds back to your hand, allowing you to replay the Kobolds and repeat the entire sequence indefinitely for infinite creature enters-the-battlefield triggers and storm count.
