How it works

1. Animate the land, if needed.
2. Activate The Jolly Balloon Man by paying 1 and tapping it, creating a token copy of the land that is a 1/1 Balloon with flying and haste in addition to its other types.
3. When the land token enters the battlefield, Retreat to Coralhelm triggers, untapping The Jolly Balloon Man.
4. Activate the land token by tapping it, adding 1.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This delightful little loop turns ordinary land animation into an engine of endless mechanical repetition by leaning on Retreat to Coralhelm as a perpetual motion machine. When you use The Jolly Balloon Man to copy your animated land, that token's arrival triggers the Retreat, instantly untapping the Balloon Man so you can repeat the process indefinitely. By tapping the land token for mana to pay for the ability, you sustain the loop while generating an endless army of hasty, flying land tokens.
