How it works

1. Activate the mana-producing land by tapping it, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Wonderscape Sage by tapping it and returning the mana-producing land from the battlefield to your hand, causing you to draw a card and discard a card if the land didn't have a nonbasic land type.
3. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting the mana-producing land from your hand onto the battlefield untapped due to Archelos.
4. When the land enters the battlefield, Retreat to Coralhelm triggers, untapping Wonderscape Sage.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the humble act of replaying lands into a churning engine of card advantage, anchored by Wonderscape Sage’s ability to draw cards at the cost of returning a land to your hand. Patron of the Moon steps in to feed that cycle, using its activated ability to drop lands right back onto the battlefield for a single mana. Thanks to Archelos, Lagoon Mystic reigning over the board with its untapped presence, those returning lands completely bypass the usual slowdown and enter the battlefield ready to work. That sudden influx of lands triggers Retreat to Coralhelm each time, instantly untapping Wonderscape Sage so you can repeat the entire process indefinitely.
