How it works

  1. Cast Shimmering Wings by paying U mana.
  2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
  3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens.
  4. When the Everywhere land tokens enter the battlefield, Stone-Seeder Hierophant triggers that many times.
  5. Resolve the first trigger, untapping Stone-Seeder Hierophant.
  6. Holding priority, activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping an Everywhere token.
  7. Repeat from step 5 for the remaining trigger.
  8. Resolve the Shimmering Wings spell.
  9. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding U manaU mana.
  10. Activate Shimmering Wings by paying U mana, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  11. Repeat.

This infinite loop relies on a clever engine of self-bouncing mana and recursive triggers. By casting Shimmering Wings repeatedly, you trigger Displacer Kitten to blink Overlord of the Hauntwoods, whose entry is doubled by Yarok, the Desecrated to churn out a flood of Everywhere land tokens. Every single one of those entering tokens triggers Stone-Seeder Hierophant, whose landfall and tap abilities work in tandem to continually untap your mana sources and fuel the cycle.
