How it works
Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens.
When the Everywhere land tokens enter the battlefield, Stone-Seeder Hierophant triggers that many times.
Resolve the first trigger, untapping Stone-Seeder Hierophant.
Holding priority, activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping an Everywhere token.
Repeat from step 5 for the remaining trigger.
Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
Repeat.
This intricate loop relies on Starfield Vocalist to double the entry triggers of Overlord of the Hauntwoods, flooding your board with tapped Everywhere lands whenever it enters the battlefield. Each of those new lands fuels Stone-Seeder Hierophant's landfall ability, letting you untap it and repeatedly tap your lands for mana. Meanwhile, casting Flickering Ward triggers Displacer Kitten to blink the Overlord of the Hauntwoods, resetting the entire engine while the Ward itself can be bounced right back to your hand for cheap to do it all over again.
