How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing land by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping the land.
3. Activate Fertilid by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, causing you to search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped.
4. When the basic land enters the battlefield, Tiller Engine and Retreat to Kazandu trigger.
5. Resolve the Tiller Engine trigger, untapping the basic land.
6. Resolve the Retreat to Kazandu trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Fertilid.
7. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
8. Repeat.

This engine turns a single land search into a cascading avalanche of mana and counters, pulling every basic land straight out of your library and onto the battlefield. It all starts when Fertilid strips away its own counter to tutor a land into play, which immediately triggers Retreat to Kazandu to replace that spent counter and keep the cycle loaded. Meanwhile, Tiller Engine and Stone-Seeder Hierophant work in tandem to continuously untap your lands as they enter, ensuring you always have the mana and active permanents needed to keep paying Fertilid's activation cost.
