How it works

1. Activate a mana-producing land by tapping it, adding at least .
2. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping the land.
3. Activate Fertilid by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, causing you to search your library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield untapped due to Archelos.
4. When the basic land enters the battlefield, Retreat to Kazandu triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Fertilid.
5. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms simple land drops into a relentless engine that clears your entire library of basic lands. It all begins with Fertilid, whose activated ability trades a +1/+1 counter for a basic land, except Archelos, Lagoon Mystic ensures that this land enters the battlefield untapped instead of tapped. That new entry immediately triggers Retreat to Kazandu to replenish the counter Fertilid just spent, while simultaneously untapping Stone-Seeder Hierophant via its own landfall ability. From there, you simply use Stone-Seeder Hierophant to untap your mana source, creating a self-sustaining loop that fetches every single basic land out of your deck.
