How it works

1. Activate Skyshroud Ranger by tapping it, putting Arid Archway from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. When Arid Archway enters, it and Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger.
3. Resolve the Arid Archway trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger, untapping it.
5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping Skyshroud Ranger as it is a land due to Ashaya.
6. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the humble Skyshroud Ranger into a relentless engine by leveraging Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, which turns every nontoken creature you control into a Forest land in addition to its other types. Because Stone-Seeder Hierophant can tap to untap *any* land, it can target the Ranger itself, which is conveniently a land thanks to Ashaya's static ability. By continually replaying Arid Archway from your hand and letting its enter-the-battlefield trigger bounce it right back to your hand, Stone-Seeder Hierophant's landfall ability triggers endlessly to untap itself and keep the cycle spinning.
