How it works

1. Activate Scaled Herbalist by tapping it, putting Guildless Commons from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. When Guildless Commons enters, it and Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger.
3. Resolve the Guildless Commons trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger, untapping it.
5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping Scaled Herbalist as it is a land due to Ashaya.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the mechanical quirk of Ashaya, Soul of the Wild into a powerhouse by turning all your nontoken creatures into Forests, which crucially includes Stone-Seeder Hierophant. Because Stone-Seeder Hierophant is now a land, it becomes an eligible target for its own activated ability—and crucially, it also triggers its own Landfall ability whenever a land enters the battlefield. You use Scaled Herbalist to drop Guildless Commons, which immediately bounces itself back to your hand via its own trigger while simultaneously causing Stone-Seeder Hierophant to untap. From there, you tap the newly untapable Stone-Seeder Hierophant to untap Scaled Herbalist, letting you replay Guildless Commons over and over to generate infinite landfall triggers.
