How it works

1. Activate Scaled Herbalist by tapping it, putting Azorius Chancery from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. When Azorius Chancery enters, it and Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger.
3. Resolve the Azorius Chancery trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger, untapping it.
5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping Scaled Herbalist as it is a land due to Ashaya.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a simple land drop into an engine of endless iteration by turning your entire board into a mana-producing ecosystem. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting here by quietly granting the Forest land type to all of your nontoken creatures, which immediately turns Stone-Seeder Hierophant and Scaled Herbalist into lands alongside whatever you play. When you use Scaled Herbalist to drop Azorius Chancery onto the battlefield, its entry triggers both a land return and a landfall untap for Stone-Seeder Hierophant. Because Ashaya makes that Hierophant a land, its active tap ability can directly untap the Herbalist to keep the cycle going. You simply bounce Azorius Chancery right back to your hand with its own trigger, ready to be replayed indefinitely for infinite landfall triggers.
