How it works

1. Activate Scaled Herbalist by tapping it, putting Rakdos Carnarium from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. When Rakdos Carnarium enters, it and Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger.
3. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
4. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger, untapping it.
5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping Scaled Herbalist as it is a land due to Ashaya.
6. Repeat.

This crafty loop turns the land-manipulation of Scaled Herbalist and Rakdos Carnarium into an infinite engine, powered entirely by the transformative presence of Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. Because Ashaya makes all your nontoken creatures into Forests, Scaled Herbalist and Stone-Seeder Hierophant are treated as lands—allowing Stone-Seeder Hierophant to untap the Herbalist with its tap ability and trigger its own landfall untap whenever a land enters. When you play Rakdos Carnarium, its entry triggers both Stone-Seeder Hierophant and its own bounce ability, letting you immediately return the Carnarium to your hand while the Hierophant untaps to start the sequence anew.
