How it works

  1. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying 2U mana, targeting Scholar of the Ages and the mana-producing land.
  2. Orvar triggers, creating a copy of the mana-producing land.
  3. When the land token enters the battlefield, Stone-Seeder Hierophant triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate the nontoken land by tapping it, adding U mana.
  5. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping the land.
  6. Activate the nontoken land by tapping it, adding U mana.
  7. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger from step 3, untapping it.
  8. Resolve Ghostly Flicker, blinking the land and Scholar of the Ages.
  9. When the land and Scholar of the Ages enter the battlefield, Scholar of the Ages and Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger.
  10. Resolve the Scholar of the Ages trigger, returning Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard to your hand.
  11. Holding priority, activate the land token by tapping it, adding at least U mana.
  12. Activate Stone-Seeder Hierophant by tapping it, untapping the land token.
  13. Resolve the Stone-Seeder Hierophant trigger from step 8, untapping it.
  14. Repeat from step 2.
