How it works

  1. Cast Songs of the Damned by paying B mana.
  2. When you cast Songs of the Damned, The Immortal Weapons triggers, giving target creature +2/+0 and menace until end of turn.
  3. Resolve Songs of the Damned, adding B mana for each creature card in your graveyard.
  4. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1B mana.
  5. When you cast Chthonian Nightmare, The Immortal Weapons triggers, giving target creature +2/+0 and menace until end of turn.
  6. Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, triggering itself, causing you to get EEE.
  7. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying E, sacrificing The Immortal Weapons, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning a creature card with mana value 1 from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  8. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying 1B mana.
  9. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get EEE.
  10. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying an amount of E equal to The Immortal Weapons's mana value, sacrificing the creature you returned in step 4, and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning The Immortal Weapons from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  11. When The Immortal Weapons enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Songs of the Damned from your graveyard to your hand.
  12. Repeat.
