How it works

1. Activate Leyline of Abundance by paying 6, putting four +1/+1 counters on each creature you control due to Doubling Season and Hardened Scales.
2. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding .
3. Leyline of Abundance triggers, adding .
4. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping Devoted Druid.
5. Repeat from step 2 three additional times.
6. Repeat from step 1.

This explosive loop is fueled by Devoted Druid's unique ability to untap itself by placing a -1/-1 counter, which generates two green mana each cycle thanks to Leyline of Abundance doubling your mana production. To keep the Druid from perishing to its own drawbacks, Hardened Scales and Doubling Season step in as powerful replacement effects that turn any influx of counters into a surplus, allowing Leyline of Abundance's expensive activated ability to flood your board with an overwhelming wave of +1/+1 counters. By continuously cycling the Druid's mana generation and resetting its health with massive counter growth, you can repeat the process indefinitely to endlessly scale your creatures.
