How it works

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature with Rancor attached, adding G mana.
  2. Rancor leaves the battlefield, returning itself from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Tormod triggers, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
  4. Cast Rancor by paying G mana, attaching it to the Zombie.
  5. Repeat.
