How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature that has Screams from Within attached.
2. When the creature dies, Screams from Within triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to another creature you control.
3. Tormod triggers, creating a creature token.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a recursive enchantment into an engine of endless growth by utilizing Phantom Train's sacrifice ability to repeatedly send your own creature to the graveyard. Each time that creature perishes under the weight of Screams from Within, the enchantment’s own trigger whisks it right back to the battlefield to haunt another victim, leaving behind a card that has officially left the graveyard. That movement is precisely what calls Tormod, the Desecrator to action, flooding your board with a ceaseless horde of Zombie tokens while you concurrently pump Phantom Train full of limitless +1/+1 counters.
