How it works

1. Activate Cadaverous Bloom by exiling a card from your hand, adding or .
2. Ranar triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
3. Activate Skullclamp's equip ability by paying 1, attaching it to the Spirit.
4. The Spirit dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness.
5. Skullclamp triggers, causing you to draw two cards.

This loop turns Cadaverous Bloom's card-exile mana ability into a self-sustaining engine by relying on Ranar the Ever-Watchful, whose passive trigger watches cards leave your hand and rewards you with a 1/1 Spirit token each time. By paying to strap Skullclamp onto that newly minted token, state-based actions immediately send the creature to the graveyard due to the equipment's -1 toughness penalty, which in turn triggers Skullclamp's own card-draw ability to continuously replenish your hand. You can thus endlessly exile cards for black or green mana, feed the board with flying spirits, and draw your entire deck in formats like commander, oathbreaker, and vintage.
