How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Havi.
2. When Saffi dies, Havi triggers, returning any legendary creature card with mana value 1 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Resolve the Saffi ability.
4. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Havi.
5. When Havi dies, it and Saffi trigger.
6. Resolve the Havi trigger, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Resolve the Saffi trigger, returning Havi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
9. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a recursive partnership between Havi, the All-Father and Saffi Eriksdotter, where each card brings the other right back from the graveyard. By using Viscera Seer as your sacrifice outlet, you send Havi to the graveyard to trigger its own ability—fueled by the fact that Havi grants itself indestructible under the right conditions, but here willingly goes to the bin via Viscera Seer to set up the loop—which simultaneously returns Saffi Eriksdotter to the battlefield. Saffi then sacrifices herself to target Havi, ensuring that the next time Havi hits the graveyard, Saffi's delayed trigger returns Havi right along with it.
