How it works

1. Cast Saffi Eriksdotter by paying .
2. When Saffi Eriksdotter enters the battlefield, Cadric triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Earthcraft by tapping Saffi Eriksdotter, untapping a basic land you control.
4. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
5. Resolve the Cadric trigger, causing you to pay 1 to create a token copy of Saffi Eriksdotter.
6. Activate Earthcraft by tapping the Saffi Eriksdotter token, untapping a basic land you control.
7. Activate the basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
8. Activate the Saffi Eriksdotter token by sacrificing it, targeting the nontoken Saffi Eriksdotter.
9. Activate Saffi Eriksdotter by sacrificing it, targeting Cadric.
10. When the nontoken Saffi Eriksdotter dies, the token Saffi Eriksdotter triggers, returning the nontoken Saffi Eriksdotter from your graveyard to the battlefield.
11. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop lets you turn the graveyard into a revolving door by cycling Saffi Eriksdotter and her token copy back and forth to keep each other alive. Earthcraft does the heavy lifting of paying for Cadric, Soul Kindler's copy ability by tapping our creatures for mana while bypassing the legend rule entirely. Because Cadric lets you continuously recreate Saffi as legendary tokens without losing them to state-based actions, you can endlessly sacrifice and save your key permanents to generate an infinite supply of mana, creature entries, and death triggers.
