How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Jackdaw Savior.
2. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Jackdaw Savior.
3. When Jackdaw Savior dies, it and Saffi trigger.
4. Resolve the Jackdaw Savior trigger, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Saffi trigger, returning Jackdaw Savior from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
7. Repeat.

This elegant recursion loop centers on an exchange between Saffi Eriksdotter and Jackdaw Savior, where each brings the other right back from the brink. When you use Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice Jackdaw Savior, Saffi Eriksdotter’s waiting delayed trigger returns the Savior, while the Savior's own death trigger uses its lesser mana value interaction to pull Saffi Eriksdotter straight out of the graveyard and back onto the battlefield.
