How it works

1. Activate Saffi by sacrificing it, targeting Fiendish Panda.
2. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Fiendish Panda.
3. When Fiendish Panda dies, its second ability and Saffi trigger.
4. Resolve the Saffi trigger, returning Fiendish Panda from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Fiendish Panda trigger, returning Saffi from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Resolve the Phantom Train ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop puts Saffi Eriksdotter and Fiendish Panda into a continuous cycle of resurrection by feeding them to Phantom Train's sacrifice outlet. When you sacrifice Fiendish Panda to the Train, its own dying trigger and Saffi's pre-targeted effect both catch the trip to the graveyard, returning each other right back to the battlefield. Meanwhile, Phantom Train keeps growing larger with every iteration by converting those sacrifices into permanent +1/+1 counters.
