How it works

1. Declare Coiling Stalker as an attacker.
2. When it isn't blocked, activate up to seven lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Great Whale's ninjutsu ability by paying 2 and returning Coiling Stalker from the battlefield to your hand, putting Great Whale onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
4. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
5. Activate Coiling Stalker's ninjutsu ability by paying 1 and returning Great Whale from the battlefield to your hand, putting Coiling Stalker onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
6. Repeat from step 2.
7. If you control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least 4, this combo nets infinite mana.

This brilliant loop exploits the flexible ninjutsu granted by Satoru Umezawa to bounce and replay Great Whale repeatedly. By using Coiling Stalker to ninjutsu the Whale back to your hand, and then paying Satoru's cost to bring the Whale back in, you trigger the Whale's untap ability to continuously refresh your lands. As long as your lands can produce more mana than the {2}{U}{B} and {1}{G} activation costs, you'll net infinite mana alongside infinite enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield triggers.
