How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Ulasht.
2. When Ulasht dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight granting persist to your other nontoken creatures, allowing Ulasht, the Hate Seed to return from the graveyard whenever it perishes. You simply feed Ulasht to Viscera Seer to set up the sacrifice loop, which continuously triggers death events and lets you scry through your library. While Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn helps weave creature spells together with convoke during earlier setup, this specific engine turns the back-and-forth between Viscera Seer and Ulasht into an endless cycle of sacrifice and rebirth.
