How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Rakdos Carnarium.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Rakdos Carnarium.
5. When Rakdos Carnarium dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Rakdos Carnarium from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Rakdos Carnarium enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Toph, the First Metalbender transforming all your nontoken artifacts into lands, effectively turning any free artifact into a land that can be bounced to your hand. When you cast that free artifact, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers its earthbend ability on Rakdos Carnarium, turning the bounceland into a creature. You then feed Rakdos Carnarium to Viscera Seer, sending it to the graveyard where its "dies or is exiled" earthbend return clause triggers its revival to the battlefield tapped. When Rakdos Carnarium re-enters, its own triggered ability forces you to return a land to your hand—and thanks to the static effect of Toph, the First Metalbender, your bounced "artifact-land" returns right back to your hand to start the cycle anew, netting you infinite sacrifices, death triggers, scry 1s, and storm count.
