Viscera Seer

How it works

1. Create a creature token that is a Human and/or Shaman, and/or has changeling.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the creature token.
3. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the creature token created in step 2.
4. When the creature token dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all creatures that share a creature type with it.
5. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns a single matching creature type into an endless cycle of creation and sacrifice, legal in formats like Commander and Legacy. You begin with a creature token that shares a tribe with Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds—who generously grants haste and bestows an activated tapping ability to churn out a fresh copy of that very token. From there, you feed that copy directly to Viscera Seer to sacrifice it, sifting through your library with infinite scry 1 triggers while sending the token to the graveyard. That death is the catalyst for Faces of the Past, whose passive ability immediately triggers to untap Ghired and any other creatures sharing that creature type, resetting the entire engine to run again.
