How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing it.
2. When Viscera Seer dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Viscera Seer from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
4. Cast Viscera Seer from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
5. Aetherflux Reservoir triggers, causing you to gain 1 life for each spell you've cast this turn.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop creates an engine for infinite life and damage by using Mortuary to redirect creatures straight to the top of your library whenever they perish, allowing Viscera Seer to sacrifice itself over and over again. As you recast Viscera Seer repeatedly from the top of your library, Aetherflux Reservoir tracks your growing storm count and piles up massive amounts of lifegain to keep you safe. Meanwhile, Gwenom, Remorseless provides the crucial alternative casting permission and life-payment mechanic that lets you bypass traditional mana costs to continuously play Viscera Seer right back onto the battlefield. Once your life total is safely in the stratosphere thanks to the reservoir, you can cash in 50 of those life points to unleash a lethal blast directly at any target.
