How it works

1. If Morselhoarder has any -1/-1 counters on it, activate it by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, adding one mana of any color.
2. Repeat step 1 as necessary until Morselhoarder has no -1/-1 counters on it.
3. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Morselhoarder.
4. When Morselhoarder dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns Morselhoarder into an infinite mana and sacrifice engine by exploiting its own unique counter mechanics alongside the back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight. Because Isilu grants persist to your other nontoken creatures, sacrificing Morselhoarder to Viscera Seer when it runs out of its initial -1/-1 counters allows it to return to the battlefield with a fresh -1/-1 counter. You can then strip away that counter using Morselhoarder's own mana-producing ability to generate a color of your choice, resetting the loop entirely. Viscera Seer acts as the clean sacrifice outlet that also lets you scry infinitely through your deck along the way.
