How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Arid Archway.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Arid Archway.
5. When Arid Archway dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Arid Archway from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Arid Archway enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns zero-mana artifacts into a self-sustaining engine by taking advantage of Toph, the First Metalbender, which turns all your nontoken artifacts into lands. When you continuously recast your free artifact, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers its earthbend ability to animate Arid Archway into a land creature, which you can immediately sacrifice to Viscera Seer. The crucial interaction happens when Arid Archway dies and triggers Toph's return effect, and its subsequent entry triggers its own ability to bounce your artifact back to your hand—since the artifact is currently treated as a land by the first Toph. By feeding the loop with Viscera Seer's sacrifice outlet, you generate an endless cascade of creature deaths, landfall triggers, and scrys.
