How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, it and Tresserhorn's Lord trigger.
3. Resolve the Tresserhorn's Lord trigger, causing you to draw a card.
4. Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
6. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
7. Repeat.

This elegant engine uses Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned as its heartbeat, turning every death into a card drawn thanks to its static triggered ability. To keep the loop going indefinitely, you sacrifice a persist creature to Viscera Seer, which triggers the persist mechanic to bring it right back to the battlefield. Every time that creature re-enters, Olivia, Mobilized for War allows you to discard a card to place a +1/+1 counter on it, which neatly neutralizes the incoming -1/+1 counter and keeps your sacrifice fodder alive for another round.
