How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Thunderous Velocipede
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
4. Repeat

This clever loop sets up an infinite engine by leveraging a persist creature alongside Thunderous Velocipede, whose static ability ensures that when the persist creature returns from the graveyard, it enters with an additional +1/+1 counter that instantly cancels out its native -1/-1 counter. With this counter cancellation bypassing the usual limits of persist, Viscera Seer provides a free sacrifice outlet to send the creature back to the graveyard over and over again. As you cycle the creature repeatedly, you generate infinite death triggers, sacrifice triggers, and creature entries, all while using Viscera Seer to sculpt the top of your library with infinite scry triggers.
