How it works

1. Cause Orcish Vandal to become an artifact using Thran Forge.
2. Activate Orcish Vandal by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to Smaug.
3. Smaug triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Treasures, untapping Orcish Vandal.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Orcish Vandal's fiery temper into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Thran Forge to temporarily turn the Vandal into an artifact, allowing it to be targeted by Clock of Omens. When you tap Orcish Vandal to fling damage at Smaug the Impenetrable, Smaug's indestructible nature shrugs off the blow while its triggered ability generously rewards you with two Treasure tokens. Those very same Treasures are then tapped as the cost to activate Clock of Omens, which untaps Orcish Vandal and lets you repeat the entire process to generate infinite tapped Treasure tokens.
