How it works

1. Cause Orcish Vandal to become an artifact using Silverskin Armor.
2. Activate Orcish Vandal by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to Smaug.
3. Smaug triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Treasures, untapping Orcish Vandal.
5. Repeat from step 2.

To set this engine into motion, you first need to wrap Orcish Vandal in Silverskin Armor so that it counts as an artifact in addition to its other types. Once suited up, the Vandal can use its tap ability to fling 2 damage directly at Smaug the Impenetrable, whose indestructible nature shrugs off the harm while its triggered ability cheerfully rewards the abuse by minting two Treasure tokens. Those very same Treasures then feed the activation cost of Clock of Omens, allowing you to untap the Orcish Vandal and repeat the whole fiery loop for an endless harvest of metallic riches.
