How it works

1. Cause Orcish Vandal to become an artifact using Memnarch.
2. Activate Orcish Vandal by tapping it, dealing 2 damage to Smaug.
3. Smaug triggers, creating two Treasure tokens.
4. Activate Clock of Omens by tapping the Treasures, untapping Orcish Vandal.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Orcish Vandal into a self-contained pyromancer by using Memnarch to permanently turn the Vandal into an artifact, letting it feed its own ability. When that ability targets Smaug the Impenetrable, Smaug's triggered ability steps in to convert that noncombat damage into a pair of Treasure tokens. Those very same Treasures are then immediately put to work by Clock of Omens, tapping themselves to untap the Vandal so the cycle can begin anew.
