How it works

  1. Tap Orcish Vandal, sacrificing Chalice of the Void to deal 2 damage to any target.
  2. Tap Emry, targeting Chalice of the Void.
  3. Cast Chalice of the Void.
  4. Jeskai Ascendancy triggers, allowing you to loot.
  5. Jeskai Ascendancy triggers, untapping all creatures you control and giving them +1/+1 until end of turn.
  6. Repeat.

This loop relies on casting and sacrificing a zero-mana artifact like Chalice of the Void over and over, leveraging its lack of a mana cost so it enters with zero charge counters and successfully resolves without countering itself. Emry, Lurker of the Loch lets you repeatedly pull that same Chalice of the Void straight out of your graveyard, while Orcish Vandal provides the sacrifice outlet to clear it from the battlefield and deal 2 damage to any target. Meanwhile, Jeskai Ascendancy acts as the ultimate engine, untapping your creatures and letting you loot every time you cast that noncreature artifact, turning the whole recursion into a torrential loop of infinite damage, card filtering, and pumped attackers.
