How it works

1. Cast Ebondeath from your graveyard by paying due to Green Goblin.
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Ebondeath, adding .
3. When Ebondeath dies, Abzan Ascendancy triggers, creating a creature token.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding .
5. Repeat.

This loop centers around the unique graveyard-casting enabler provided by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, whose back face reduces the cost of spells cast from your graveyard and gives your discarded nonland cards mayhem. This discount allows you to repeatedly cast Ebondeath, Dracolich straight from the graveyard for just two black mana after a creature dies. When you sacrifice Ebondeath to Phyrexian Altar to recoup that mana, Abzan Ascendancy steps in to replace it with a 1/1 Spirit token. Sacrificing that token back to Phyrexian Altar satisfies Ebondeath's revival condition for the next iteration, looping infinitely for storm count and death triggers.
